Hi Colleen!
Everything is going well. The puppies, Daisy and Duke as we call them, are adjusting well. We've had a few minor accidents in the house, but overall the potty training is going very well and they haven't chewed anything they weren't supposed to...yet. They've learned to run to the door when they want out and they go as soon as they hit the grass. MacGyver is doing very well with them. I'm very proud of him in how he's maintained composure when they jump in his face. :) He still growls, but I can tell the growling is already lessening as he adjusts.
Overall it seems to be a success!

Hi Colleen, Look at how big they've gotten! They're doing well since they've been fixed. I felt so bad for poor little Daisy when she got home. She was so groggy and nauseated. Meanwhile, Duke has managed to figure out how to clear the entire height of the gate by taking a running start and springing off the top stair with his back legs. He's so mischievous. Anyway, hope all is well at your house with your new doggie friends! -Kara
Jazzy
Hi Colleen
This is Sandy, Jazzy's new mommy. I thought you might like to see a couple of pics of her and her brother
Hope you have a great Memorial Day ...please pass these onto Steph and families
Sandy.
Chloe
Chloe is dong fine. She is following me all around the house and getting used to everyone. She slept with us in bed last night and is actually laying her on the couch right now taking a nap.
Thank for the pictures. I will send them to my son today.
Celeste
Hi Colleen,
Oh my, what an experience for my little girl. She went in yesterday at 9AM but didn't get her procedure until 5AM this morning. All day waiting and not eating and not knowing what was going on. I felt for her. Anyway, we picked her up this morning around 9AM and she has just been relaxing since. Guess she will start jumping around again tomorrow.
Otherwlse, Chole is doing wonderful. She loves going on long walks, multiple times a day - she wants to be outside, visiting all the dogs and children in the neighborhood. Maybe in the future we will adopt another dog and they can be playmates.
Thanks for checking in and thinking about us.
Love Celeste
Patty
Thank you. We had a FABULOUS homecoming. Everyone stopped over with their dogs and had quite the party. Send me a Facebook friend request and I'll add you on.
It was great meeting the 2 of you. We talked all the way home about how special you are, to do what you do for these guys.
Dan & Cindy
Dear Colleen and Kevin,
First a note of thanks for having us to your home on March 4th to meet "Patty" AKA Jett and the rest of your 4 legged family. It's very easy to see how much time, love and commitment you both provide for all of your fosters.
We decided to name her Jett because she is so fast and a little "tongue and cheek" . . . Jett Lee is Dan's favorite action star!! Little did we know at the time, that not only is she fast but also seems to know Kung Fu!! She is truly a handful but also a pure joy! It has taken Chance a bit to adjust but they now sleep side by side each night.
We had our first vet visit on 3/7, basically an introduction, weight and check up. She was 7.5 lbs. that day.
Today we went back and had her DHLPP (12wks), her chip inserted and nails clipped. She did very well and had the entire staff charmed. She has gained almost a 1lb. and her coat has changed slightly with a bit more black showing along her spine and a black tip on her tail.
She is doing very well with her potty training. As of yesterday not a single accident inside!
Yesterday was also my birthday and as a gift my daughter gave us a 12 week puppy training gift certificate. We will begin the classes the first of tApril.
I will post new pix on FB this week so you can see her progress.
Again, it was so great meeting you and we thank you so much for all your loving care and for the gift of this precious pup! She truly is a special girl.
We'll keep in touch! Much love to you both!
Cindy, Dan, Chance and Jett
Joey
Thanks again for everything. Joey and Vinny (Bentley and Barkley) are great additionsto the family! They are settling in nicely and haven't destroyed too much of the house. ;) We will keep you updated with their progress and send pictures as they grow up. It's funny as we are not seeing any of the sheltie side yet. Thanks again, John, Lynn, Hannah and Lily Hi Colleen Sorry for just getting back to you, I was traveling and wasn't sure what the brand of heart worm medication was-its called Heartgard and they have a couple of doses already with no problems. We just got them neutered on the 11th. That has been an interesting experience to say the least! Trying to keep the 2 of them calm is impossible. They are doing well and I will send over the paperwork to you this weekend verifying that they have been neutered and that they have received all of their shots. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to bring them into our home. John
