Well hello there... First off, my name is pronounced "Ka-Noosh". It is spelled all fancy like that because it is the eskimo phrase meaning "I am a fabulous, handsome dog and you should adopt me immediately!" (ok...soooooo that's not entirely true... it actually means "polar bear" ). Anyway, my friends call me Nooshie and I am so very good looking it's hard to walk anywhere without somebody commenting on my striking beauty and fluffiness. I tried to wear sunglasses to disguise myself once but it just didn't stop the gawking. I can't help it, I was born this way. Oh well, I will just have to live with being stunning. Along with my exquisite looks, I am a friendly and outgoing guy too. Now, if your a male of the human species and you reach quickly over top of my head I get a bit nervous... But if you go easy with me and let me get to know you, I am cool. I LOVE all the ladies and the little munchkin humans too. Smaller animal species such as cats and pet skunks I find amusing to chase and torment. Yes, I actually had to share my domain with those stinky creatures -- imagine what they could have done to my perfect shiny white coat... oh wait... duh... they were de-scented.... but anyway, it would be better if I wasn't in a household with that temptation. I am housetrained and know my basic commands and I listen well. I also feel it is my right to sleep on the bed with my humans. I cant help it, why should this perfect coat sleep on a floor?... I mean c'mon.... If you think you can handle my sensational looks and my dazzling personality, please fill out an application. I would love to light up your life ! Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs.
