Description: Lets talk about Charlie.  His owner got him from a puppy mill in Ohio.  Paid good money and had him shipped here.  Thats always a recipe for disaster :(  His owner was already sick and within the 8 months of Charlies life the owner died.Charlie has had no exposure to ANYTHING :(   We have started working with him exposing him to people, bicycles, walks etc.  Charlie is a super smart dog and is learning quickly but he will need a family that understands there is still much work to do.  An adopter MUST be willing to work with our behaviorist for at least 3 sessions.Charlie requires a fenced yard Click for more information... Description: Well I was "purchased" by a senior citizen.  He was 78 and I was a puppy :(  I had to be around really big dogs.  By the time I was 2 I had learned that I needed to protect myself.  My owner had realized he was to old to handle a puppy.  To say it was a mess was an understatement :(   My owners daughter started calling all around looking for help to place me.  She told the people I was food aggressive, dog aggressive and only liked males so of course most rescues the SPCA included didn't want anything to do with me :(Lucky for me Lynn decided she wanted to meet me.  She took my leash and we went for a walk.  I just knew by the way she walked with me that she was in charge and I didn't have to be.  She picked me up and carried me for a little while and I decided I liked it!She brought this big dog Millie into the play yard.  Oh no I was scared but Lynn seemed to think it would be alright so I decided to see what would happen.&n... Description: Dougie came to us scared of EVERYTHING and therefore very reactive.  He has blossomed at the ranch.  He chooses his people and if he loves you he loves you with everything he has!I would not suggest Dougie for a home with children as a lot of activity can scare him but he would be awesome for an empty nester with another small dog for him to play with.  I highly suggest a fenced yard as he is NOT fond of a leash.
