     Cindy Lou is only 6 months old. She has a defective back leg that has been this way since birth. She does not use the leg as it folds under anytime she puts weight on it! She is not a complainer and tries to run and play with the other dogs but struggles. Dr. Runnels says eventually as she grows she will tear the tendons in the leg and it will be very painful, therefore we have decided that Cindy Lou will have the $3000 surgery to correct the problem and give her the chance to run and play with the other puppies her age!      Cody Man is a precious little guy who's family noticed that his eyes were "oozing green stuff" 2 years ago but did not take him to a vet because "they could not afford it" instead they just stopped grooming this poor little boy and allowed his hair to mat over his entire body until you no longer could even see eyes!

     Cody had surgery to remove all the extra hair and allow him to open his eyes which just protruded out of the sockets for awhile. His eyes are totally black from lack of light for 2 years and he will never regain his sight. At this time he makes absolutely no tears so the opthalmologist has designed a gel for him to hopefull reteach his eyes to make tears. Even after all of this, he is a wonderful little boy and puts up with the constant drops still wagging his tail and giving his foster mommy kisses!
